What we're looking for

You’ll be one of the first hires on Visia’s forward-deployed engineering team. We’re looking for builders with a customer-centric mindset — if a role involving both face-time with customers as well as being able to work on cutting-edge engineering problems appeals to you, then this might be for you.

You would serve as a bridge between our software and customer support organizations, providing engineering-centric customer insights and product ideas as we scale across North America.

Responsibilities

• Owning entire Visia implementations at customer facilities — right from pre-engineering, to facilitating installations, to support and software bugfixes
• Working closely with Visia’s CEO to critically analyze and ideate on real-world problems & potential user-centric solutions that you identify
• Working closely with Visia;s software & AI teams to design, implement, and contribute to Visia’s AI platform

Qualifications

• A background in either Mechanical Engineering, Field Services Engineering & Project Management, or Computer Science
• Proficiency in Python and a solid understanding of UNIX command line usage
• Experience with CCTV & X-ray equipment is a plus
• No minimum experience — just a strong passion to create positive change in one of the world’s most important industries
